This story spawned from the annoyance of how friends-with-benefits stories typically feature one of the same two tropes - (1) the fmc is ridiculously inexperienced and (2) the fmc falls first and inevitably gets her heart broke. So why not flip the script? Have a sex-hungry heroine - who still knows her value and demands her worth - AND a love-struck hero who finds himself trapped in a situation of his own making?

It's a short journey, but a wild ride, as the crazy dial has been turned to the max and the drama is packed in tight - with lots of colorful language, banter, and some possessive alpha-hole reaction. We'll call this one spice-adjacent, as it deals with lots of spicy discussion and references, but very little action in real-time on the page.

Note - there's no cheating, though the FMC does go on dates/kisses OM while they're single. And of course, as always, the MCs will have a HEA. Enjoy!
